Nice city.
Nice city. Comparing to Samarkand Bukhara is smaller and main sightseeing spot are concentrated in the old city center so it's easy to see everything in 1-2 days. I would recommend to hire local guide and just relax walking via old Bukhara streets.

It was a unique experience & was like to set foot into the history of Central Asia. Several centuries of South Asia’s history starts from Bukhara, Samarkand & Tashkent. So, obviously this trip into the past was very exciting! Every building, monument in the city reminded us of their past glory & the great Mughals! From Chengis Khan, to Amir Taimur, Iban Batuta et all had set foot on this holy land. The city should get more prominence amongst the historians & tourists alike! Being nearest to India with 1.4 billion population & it’s really cheap value for money accommodation & delicious food will attract hoards of visitors. But before that more flight options & more English speaking young Uzbeks are the real necessity! We would love to travel many more times in the future. Long live Uzbeks! Long live Uzbekistan!

The old city is fabulous despite a lot of straight face tourists and despite the Coca Pepsi everywhere. Uzbekistan make a very bad deal with the capitalists. Most of the cars are Chevrolet. North American are changing the habits of the Uzbeks as well o many countries around the world. Yankees go home. Yankees go to hell

This is the most historically-focused town in Uzbekistan I have seen so far. The historical center is small, everything is in the neighborhood and very picturesque. Friendly locals, a lot to see and enjoy. Highly recommended!
My stay at Komil Bukhara Boutique Hotel was absolutely great 🇺🇿. I have chosen this hotel due to the beautiful decorations and mosaics. Each room has a different theme, and the owner is very warm and professional, allowing me to tour the facility. The hotel appears to be the top choice among visitors to Bukhara since it is also listed on many tour companies' itineraries. Excellent location, close to the city's main attractions by foot. The personnel were very professional and courteous.
The hotel decors is charming both traditional and elegant, the location is very good, 5 mins to Chor Minors, 15 min to Labi Hauz, all the attractions are in working distance. The breakfast restaurant is spacious, good choice of food if you come up at 8:00, but we came up at 9:00 the next day, not much food left, they do not refill except 2 fired eggs for us ( breakfast serves 8:00-10:00), the room is clean when we check in. Hotel staff is helpful generally.
This hotel is amazing! We had to book it last minute as our previous hotel cancelled on us and they accomodate us without issues, even when we arrived late at night. They helped us arrange a taxi to pick us up, and they were super helpful with everything.
The room was big and comfortable, and the bathroom was new.
However, the best thing was the breakfast. It was the best breakfast of all the hotels that we stayed in Uzbekistan, really good!!
A very lovely and peaceful stay in this cozy boutique hotel in Bukhara 🇺🇿
All the staffs are so kind, helpful and welcoming.
Everything was perfect and it is located right into the old town and it is simply amazing to walk in this museum city + outstanding freshly cooked breakfasts 🤤
We definitely recommend to everyone we know for your stay in Bukhara and would be happy to come back one day 🇺🇿
Thank you for everything 🙏🏻
Hosts made us feel like a true family. We had amazing time in hotel and with them. They really went above and beyond to make us feel at home and to make our stay amazing. From making reservations in restaurants to taking us to see local delicacies.. I don’t think we ever felt so welcomed. Fhe place is brand new and beautiful. Mix of old and new Uzbek style. Great and tasty breakfast. Really just the best!! Highly recommend!!!
I stayed at 20 sqm room and everything was fine, realy nothing to complain about. Hotel is rather new, room is spacious, matrass is soft, linnen is good cotton, bathroom is clean, shower is strong, AC is working, breakfast is good and the girl manager is helpful and speaks good english. They were happy to provide no meet and less sugary breakfast. For me it was best value for money in Uzbekistan. Definitely would stay again.
The hotel is in an old Madrasa which has been beautifully restored and tastefully decorated and furnished.
The breakfast was the best we had in Uzbekistan. The local dumplings and turnovers were prepared fresh and served hot right out of the oven! The apricot and crabapple jams were delicious on the fresh goat cheese!
Staff was super helpful and assisted us in booking train tickets for future portions of our travel.
Definitely the best accomodation we've had in Uzbekistan. Spacious clean room with a new fridge and a large TV coupled with beautiful bathroom. Rich breakfast from 7 to 10 am. Staff spoke good english and vere extremely helpful and welcoming - getting a shisha, a tea or a can of beer was no problem and they even helped us get a cheap taxi to the center and offered us a ride to the train station.
Traveled around Uzbekistan for 5 days and Naqshband was by far the best hotel we have booked. Best location, authentic yet modern family atmosphere, very well trained, helpful and helpful staff. We slept well and had a great breakfast on the terrace. This terrace is one of the highest points in the old city. In short, a cultural, stylish hotel. I will definitely come back here.
Breakfast was included in the price and they make as per our convenience. They are very good and the breakfast was also good as compare to others.
the Owner lady was very nice and coperative. She even don't know the english but we managed.
Uzbekistan and bukhara the people mostly speak Russian , Uzbek or azri language.
but it was really very clean and comfortable.
thanks
This hotel was an unexpected delight. Staff were attentive and helpful. Breakfast was excellent in terms of variety and quantity. My room was clean and comfortable. The on-site restaurant was excellent and the dining room was beautiful--a museum piece of Bukhara historic architecture and culture. It is a pleasure to write a positive review about Lyabi House Hotel
Absolutely amazing place! I loved the neighbourhood, very central, yet quiet area. The view from the balcony was top! The hosts were very nice. I arrived at 5 in the morning by train and there was no problem checking-in so early. Excellent price, probably the best I had in the 2 weeks I spent in Uzbekistan. I would definitely come again!

Location is impossible to beat. The hotel is right in the center of the old city.
Exceptional staff. We traveled as a group of four and all of us are vegans. It's hard to find good vegan food in Buhara, but the restaurant staff offered us to prepare special meals for us.
Great stay in all aspects. Rooms were spacious, breakfast was delicious and the vibe was super welcoming. Made some extra wishes possible even without sharing a common language. Got invited and listened to a private little concert in the evening and got to learn a lot about Bukhara and Uzbekistan from the hosts.
The nicest hotel we saw in Uzbekistan
We “splurged” on the top hotel for all of 80 bucks. The king room was stately, there’s a great hammom and pool downstairs, the breakfast was top-notch. Walking distance to old city sites
That's a private flat ! Super clean, brand new, our best beds in ouzbekistan. We loved the ability to use the kitchen, there is many shops around for food. 5 min walk from main touristic area with cafés, shops, restaurants...
