The location is central and within walking distance to the historic area, shops and restaurants. Yet rooms facing the street had good sound proofing and were quiet. The air conditioner worked perfectly during this hot summer, rooms were very clean, and beds were comfortable. We had connected rooms which is very convenient for families. The staff were super friendly and very welcoming. Unfortunately I couldn’t get their names but the receptionist on our arrival and at check out were very helpful.

Located in the centre of Madrid, the stylish Catalonia Plaza Mayor is at 600m from the Plaza Mayor and within 10 minutes’ walk of the Prado and Thyssen-Bornemisza Museums. We had a big room this time, with space for all the luggage and for us to move. Also the bathroom was very nice and big. We had a super big smooth bed where we slept very well, even though we had a street room. One very nice detail was that they gave us carton bags with some breakfast, because we had an early flight back home. We really loved to stay in Catalonia Plaza Mayor Hotel.

Set in a beautiful 18th-century building, Catalonia Las Cortes offers air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. It is located in Madrid City Centre, 10 minutes' walk from El Prado Museum. Breakfast variety excellent, the staff always looking to accommodate our needs.

The location was excellent for everything we wanted to do in Madrid. The staff were, without exception, welcoming, polite, helpful and friendly. It was my partner´s birthday and they had upgraded our room which we thanked them for. On returning to our room in the late afternoon we found a bottle of complimentary cava and two glasses with a really lovely personal birthday message. We could not get over what a truly lovely gesture this was and it made my partners day!. The breakfast was also very good and again the staff very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and well-appointed, even with an iron and proper ironing board - we usually have to ask for threse! This is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in in Madrid and we would highly recommend it to anyone. We will certainly use it again! Nothing was too much trouble. Wonderful experience!!

Located in the Barrio de las Letras, Gran Hotel Inglés - The Leading Hotels of the World is set on a 19th century building, and offers 5* accommodation 300 metres from Puerta del Sol and only 600... The staff was beyond helpful. Very nice from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed. The bar was right out of a postcard

Άνετο δωμάτιο, ακριβώς στο κέντρο δίπλα στα περισσότερα αξιοθέατα. Πολύ καλή η ιδέα της καφετιέρας στο χωλ , επειδή δεν παρέχει πρωινό .

Very clean and the staff was so friendly! Didn’t get to use the jacuzzi on the roof as it was so hot during our stay but amazing non the less!
