Hotel le Lumiere is just 450 metres from Sans Souci Metro Station, which offers direct links to the historical centre of Lyon. It provides 2-star accommodation with a cinema-inspired décor. Very good communication with the reception before arriving at the destination. The rooms were clean, had clean towels, clean bed covers. Bakeries, coffee shops and small supermarket in proximity. All good, overall.

Comfortable, quality, clean, quiet, air-conditioned accommodation with very comfortable beds, a very well-equipped kitchen, efficient Wi-Fi and easy and free parking. Jef /Bruno are SUPERHOSTS. Very friendly and helpful. Always available when needed. The apartment is super comfortable, clean and quiet. Modern and complete! Location is great: Park your car near the house and walk 7-8 minutes to the subway which brings you directly downtown / old town. (By the way - very clean and safe subway - not smelly and no gravity. Everything that Paris is not. Rides every 3-5 minutes). Only restriction might be is that the bedroom is on the second floor and the stairs need to get used to. But even for me (65+ and balance issues) it was not a big deal. Jef made an extensive map with all tips and instructions, but is also very helpful answering questions . As a 'bonus', the price is VERY affordable. Very highly recommended!!

In order to learn more the cultures of different countries, most of the time we choose to use air bnb when we travel. The couple is the most enthusiastic, friendly, and excellent host in my experience of traveling around the world for more than ten years. The hostess was elegant and capable. She provided us with delicious breakfast, recommended local popular restaurants for us which moved us very much. Highly recommend not to miss this property if you visit Lyon.

Was clean and easy to access. It is also a convenient location if you have a car as there are streets to easily park the car just next to the flat.
