The couple that greeted us and provided us with traditional Japanese attire, were amazing. Breakfast was included and was very filling. Dinner was also 10/10. The area proves a perfect representation of what rural Kyoto has to offer and more. Exploring is easy with the free bicycles provided.

Oyado Seryo is a 3-minute drive from JR Ohara Bus Station and a free 2-way shuttle is provided. The Japanese-style accommodation offers 2 public baths, free parking and free Wi-Fi access. The breakfast was Kaiseki style and had a nice variety of foods to eat from eggs to oden and salmon. The location of this Ryokan was really beautiful and the trip alone was worth taking. Also, having a private onsen with the room was amazing.

Ubytovanie Ohara Sensui Surrounded by Beautiful Nature sa nachádza v destinácii Kyoto 7,7 km od miesta Rurikoin, 10 km od miesta Shugakuin Imperial Villa a 14 km od miesta Chrám Eikan-do Zenrin-ji a... The owner was very kind. And the accommodation was clean and very spacious. If I visit here next time, I will definitely stay here

Ohara no Sato Onsen je minshuku alebo súkromný dom v japonskom štýle, ktorý sa môže pochváliť originálnymi miso jedlami. The staff was super super nice with us. They explained us how to use the onsen and eat everything during dinner and breakfast. They offered the shuttle to take us to the Ohara station. The amount of food is amazing and the miso tasted so so good. It is totally worth it just because of the food. Despite there are specific times to use the onsen (one hour women, cleaning, one hour men), we could enjoy it. We were afraid the onsen was very small but there are 3: one indoor and two outdoor. It was freezing outside (it was snowing in the morning) but the water was hot enough. They only prepared one bed as a sample but we thought it was actually nice to learn how to do it. The views were super nice from the room and dining hall. The room was hot, no problem with that. The Shared room was super clean. Go there if you wanna experience ryokan and onsen but you don’t have too much money or time to go to a far place and want to stay close to Kyoto.

Offering a completely non-smoking hot-spring experience, Ohara Sanso features hot-pot dinners and a unique cafe with a hot-spring foot bath. Such a beautiful location both the surrounding nature and area but also the hotels little garden.
