Along the Kiyotakigawa River, Momojiya Annex offers traditional rooms with a private open-air bath and forest views. It features public baths and free wired internet in public areas. Amazing food (evening and breakfast), bathing in private outside tube while listening to the stream below, very friendly and helpful stuff making us feel right at home

Momojiya of Takao on rauhallinen ja perinteinen japanilainen majatalo, joka sijaitsee Kiyotakigawa-joen rannalla. The traditional kaiseki dinner and breakfast was excellent - food was plentiful and delicious. Staff was very warm and friendly. We were able to book the private open air bath (additional 4000 yen), but the water was hot and the mountain view was lovely. (Best to arrive early if you are planning to book a private bath as preferred times get snapped up quickly). There is a path where you can hike up to a temple nearby, but there really isn't much else in the area.

A 10-minute drive from Kinkaku-ji Temple, Ryokan Yamazaki offers a hot public bath and serves breakfast and traditional dinners for an additional fee. I enjoyed this experience at the Ryokan Yamazaki! I definitely recommended this place. I also recommended the restaurant as well. The food is tasty especially the Japanese breakfast was fantastic. The staff were friendly enough and there is a beautiful little garden outside (perfect to take picture) see you soon !!! Again thank you
