기요타키가와 강(Kiyotakigawa River) 옆에 자리한 조용한 일본식 여관인 Momojiya of Takao는 숲 전망의 일본식 객실, 산 전망의 대중목욕탕을 보유하고 있으며, 공용 공간에서 무료 유선 인터넷을 제공합니다. 객실은 다다미 바닥과 종이 미닫이문으로 꾸며져 있으며, TV, 냉장고, 휴식 공간과 전용 욕실을 갖추고 있습니다. If you're looking for a good ryokan experience I think this one would be a good choice. My group used the shuttle service to get to and out of the ryokan without any issues. At the ryokan itself, the staff was very attentive, friendly and nice and did their best to communicate with us using English. I really cannot overstate how great they were. Our shabu-shabu dinner as well as the breakfast was very good, I think the portions size was also quite great. Rooms were nice, had a great view, but I will say the bath in the japanese room might need some renovation work. Speaking of baths, if you have to ability to book the private bath, I highly recommend to do so. The building itself is rather old but it doesn't mean it isn't charming in a specific.way. Overall we stayed only one night but were fully relaxed and recharged before our next trip.

A 10-minute drive from Kinkaku-ji Temple, Ryokan Yamazaki offers a hot public bath and serves breakfast and traditional dinners for an additional fee. Great decision to stay here. Our room was overlooking the gorge and wooded area behind the property, and I went to sleep every night hearing nothing but the babbling brook outside our window. JR and city buses will get you downtown or to the other attractions in the area. Very good Japanese breakfast.
