Solar dos Poetas ligger bekvämt beläget i centrala Lissabon, mindre än 1 km från Praça do Comércio och 8 minuters promenad från Rossio. Very central and convenient location, fantastic view of the lively square, very friendly and helpful staff, rich and delicious breakfast with great variety, spotlessly clean, greatly renovated, absolutely soundproof windows, couldn't hear a thing from the buzz of the square. Couldn't have picked a better place to stay!

Located in Bairro Alto, the bohemian and cultural heart of Lisbon. with rooftop views across to the River Tagus on one side, and the Castelo de São Jorge on the other. Two bedroom apartment was comfortable and spacious. Great location and hotel is beautiful. Rooftop was one of our highlights, great for breakfast, afternoon cocktail or late night dinner after a busy day out. Street is noisy, so expect some “bullicio”.

Enjoying a privileged location in the historic center of Lisbon, the property is a former palace whose construction dates back to the 16th century. The stay was phenomenal. The service from the staff was excellent. Special compliments to Marcos at the reception who was very kind and interested in helping with the choice of how to see the city, as well as compliments to Clara who is the PR of the hotel and a wonderful Fado singer who gives tourists an insight into the history and what Fado is. Every morning, the day begins with the sound of the piano and violin, so I recommend experience. The Palace Hotel has and is long owned by one family, and everything in the facility represents how it used to be in the old rich houses of Lisabon. It's like you're in a fairy tale.
