It’s located right next to the train station which is super convinient. The staff was very friendly and I met other travelers. The room is small but it had everything I needed for one night. They also give free water and coffee. They kept my bag after check out when I went exploring.

Situated in Tainan, 2 km from Chihkan Tower, Kindness Day Hotel features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. We got a surprised, it came with a dinner and a free beer/juices on top of the standard breakfast. The hotel location was great and is excellent n super value for Money to stay here. Breakfast has a widespread too. There's a Starbucks opposite the Hotel. Awesome :p

We booked here when our previous accommodation fell through at the last minute, and we were very glad we did! The breakfast was really good, and rotated each of the 3 days were were there, so there was always something new to try. It was all various Taiwanese classic foods! The location is very convenient with easy walking distance to a variety of museums.

Lakeshore Hotel Tainan has a fitness centre, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Tainan. Good hotel. Family room had a nice set up. Seats in the foyer to get work done when others are asleep in room. Good Wi-Fi. Good curtains. Good buffet. Very central to food shops, Confucius temple, Chihkan Tower, Exhibition Hall2. Direct bus to Anping takes ½ hour. To get to and from Tainan high speed rail station, take the HSR shuttle bus between station and Siaosimen stop. It's not on Google/Apple Maps. Check the en.thsrc.com.tw site. To get to/from Tainan train station, I used the Tainan City bus Blue Line (蓝线) from the Xiaoximen (Fuqian Rd) Stop. There's a back route to that stop, going past a small temple. The surrounding area is quite active and lighted at night: e.g. nice walking route around the Confucius Temple. And markets along Bao'an Road. Worth a walk in the evenings.

Was surprised there is a private mini water fountain in the room - love it as it breaks the monotony of usual hotel rooms. Nearby to train and bus stations.
