Room was spacious and had a microwave and a little fridge - very good water pressure in shower - nice pool area - friendly staff - good location within south beach (restaurants / ocean drive / beach) - public parking garage with reasonable prices close by - lobby is nicely decorated and hotel is still pretty new and well maintained

Hailing from 1937, Leslie Hotel offers art deco style in sunny Miami Beach. The hotel is located on Ocean Drive, directly across from the beach. it is a fantastic hotel. The rooms and bathroom are so beautiful. People so helpfull, so kind. And thank you for letting us know where to park the car (just near the hotel, 20$/ day, probably the less expensive we could find there) An ideal location. The rooftop pool is awesome.

I recommend purchasing beer, water, snacks, and more from there, as you can enjoy significant discounts. Remember that you'll need plenty of water, beer, and wine to stay refreshed in the hot beach weather, so it's best to buy them here. Don't use the water, snacks ..provided by the host ...expensive Af. Restaurants near the beach tend to be pricey, so I suggest trying Burgermeister Brickell, pizza next to burgurhouse , which is just a 6-minute walk away. For a more convenient transportation experience, think about obtaining a 7-day or a public transport card at the airport if your card doesn't allow you to purchase bus tickets. If you're from the USA, you can simply tap your bank card when entering the bus, similar to other cities. Using cash can be challenging because bus drivers often don't have change. To reach your booked room, take bus 150 from the airport, and it will drop you off near the bus stop closest to your accommodation. It's not advisable to try to explore both Florida City and Miami Beach in a single day. If you want to explore the city, leave Miami Beach early, preferably before 8 am. You can skip the breakfast in the guest room; it's not worth it. Instead, head out early to explore the city, and you can enjoy drinks like beer, wine, or water by the beach at night. Don't overlook bringing your own shampoo and conditioner since the ones provided by the host might not be sufficient or of good quality. Keep in mind that South Beach is just behind the guest house, so there's no need to search on Google and walk a long distance to find it. Enjoy your stay.
