Incredibly charming hotel, we will come back for sure! We stayed for 8 nights : one night in the « Nomad » room and 7 nights in « The Bunk » room. First of all, prior to our arrival, the concierges were very responsive to all of our questions and demands. On site, the staff is so helpful and you can feel that they want to make your stay enjoyable. Each room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfy. The common areas were delightful and luxurious, with fresh flowers and incredible attention to detail. You can tell that the owners really put some thought into every little aspect of the hotel. The Nomad is a spacious room with a peak on the ocean. The Polaroid in this room was really a great surprise and we had fun with it. The Bunk is a smaller room without any view, but we preferred it for our week stay because of the kitchenette (large sink, mini fridge, Nespresso, kettle, toaster, large Breville toaster oven / air fryer). We were traveling with our 7 year old son, so the kitchenette was really useful for us. Parking was plentiful on the street and we did not need to pay. The location was fantastic. Plenty of shops, restaurants and of course, the ocean (and the seals!!!), all within a very short walking distance. All and all, we had a fabulous stay and it was the best hotel we have ever experienced.

Style of the whole hotel complex was great. Friendly and helpful personnel. We liked the independent access/entrance to the hotel complex. Parking was easy. Had a room on the top floor. Up and down La Jolla Blvd. nice breakfast places to be found.

Located 5 miles from La Jolla town centre and nearby beaches, this hotel boasts a large heated pool and hot tub. All rooms are equipped with iHome docking stations. Excellent location, service and accomodation. Hotel is GREAT!!!

Take in the fresh ocean breezes as you soak up the La Jolla sunshine in one of the country's most romantic honeymoon destinations. EVERYTHING!!! It was a wonderful stay! The hotel is really charming and it’s in perfect condition! The room was extra clean, super spacious with a beautiful balcony and a terrace. The whole staff was beyond helpful and nice. Is a block away from the beach and has everything walking distance in a really safe area. This is THE place to stay at La Jolla. Thank you so much!

This hotel has many advantages: it is in a very nice neiborhood, La Jolla; it has parking for only USD 10/day which is very helpful for tourists traveling by car; the rooms are newly remodeled, spacious, and very clean; the bathroom was nice, clean, newly remodeled; the room was well equipped, including the fact that it had a table which can be used for work; the personnel was very-very friendly and helpful, nicely quickly answering any messages, questions, and requests; they have a nice outside pool and jacuzzi, and bikes for rent. I was the "Guest of the Day", so I was even more happy ))) As the Guest of the Day I got one free hour for two bikes, free parking and an early check-in. However, I was not able to use my early check-in because we came to La Jolla only in the evening but it was nice to have such an option. Next time I will definitely stay with them again without hesitation. I saw (and overheard) clients who stay with them every year. If I had a possibility to go to California every year, I would definitely stay with them every time I am in the San Diego area

Situated in La Jolla, California town centre, this boutique inn offers spacious Balinese inspired rooms with well-equipped kitchens, fireplaces and Pacific Ocean views. Absolutely loved the apartment and the location. The beds were very comfortable with luxury cotton bed linens. Excellent toiletries. Parking on site and we could walk to everything. Many Excellent restaurants in any direction.

Just 5 minutes' walk from the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, this eco-friendly 4-star hotel offers a fine-dining restaurant and a large outdoor pool. The Grande Colonial La Jolla is a hotel from a past era, and in a good way. There's plenty of comfort and convenience, but the building and decor feel like last-century coastal California... and I mean that as high praise. I notice from the hotel's photos that there are rooms with ocean views, but I didn't know that when I booked and I was very pleased with our room and its view on main street La Jolla. A great stay, if too short.
