This is such a nice hotel in a beautiful location close to Pinhao (walking distance). The view over Douro river is breathtaking and the different facilities so nicely renovated. The breakfast one of the best I have ever had and the dinner restaurant served super good food - no need to eat in the village. Stay at the hotel and enjoy the facility, the view and the great food. Of course the wines are excellent and also - to our surprise - the beer.

Just gorgeous! This Quinta is possibly the most perfect place on Earth. Far surpassed my expectations! For much of the day my family and I had the whole place to ourselves and I felt like I had stepped into an episode of lifestyles of the rich and famous! The main reception rooms were beautiful and welcoming. I feel asleep for an hour in the leather chair by the window in the lounge. Angela and Maria were the loveliest of hostesses. The welcome drink of estate Rose was superb along with the small tasting platter of cheeses. Breakfast was fab (and included) and way more than we could eat. Thank you Angela and Maria for a lovely stay.

The setting was simply perfect, offering stunning views of the Duoro valley. The house itself was beautiful, and we received a lovely welcome with their homemade Porto wine. Our room was exceptional, offering great comfort, and the breakfast was equally delightful. Unfortunately, the cold weather kept us from using the pool, but we're excited to return and spend more time there. Honestly, I felt no desire to venture elsewhere, as everything about the place was just wonderful.

We liked absolutely everything. This quinta has such a warm and homy ambience. Our room was beautiful and clean with view to the village. We made a tour in the winery that was in Portuguese but we managed with google translate 😄 I warmly recommend this place!

The home is an old style farm house that you would want to stay at in this part of the city. You drive a bit to it. Well worth the drive into the mountains. The views are every where you look! Magical, quaint, a perfect hideaway.

We loved getting to know other guests at meals. I truly appreciated the designer touches to the whole property. it made it really romantic, yet unique compared to other boutique hotels in the area. All guests eat together if they agree to accept the dinner invitation from the lovely host, Miguel. The dinner price includes an aperitif, wine and port from the host’s own vineyard and it is free flowing. There is no pushing to buy anything either. A lovely relaxing atmosphere.

A delicious breakfast and supper is served at a communal table in the dining room. It's your choice whether or not to chat to other guests but striking up conversations with strangers can often be surprising and very rewarding!
