The Centomani Taverna has been completely renovated. Its rooms have a modern design with parquet floors and views of the garden. Each one includes a private bathroom with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Everything. We love the friendly welcome by Senora Maria. So full of information and patience. Her demeanour suited the tranquility of the place too. We like the hospitality of people in the farm - we could wander around the farm and go close to cows, sheeps, cats and dogs. There were many fruit trees, lavendar and rose plants. The facilities in the room was excellent - modern, clean and eco friendly. Breakfast was very delicious - all made by Senora Maria. We would definitely come back and recommend this place to others. A beautiful stop on the way to Puglia.

At the farm stay, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. johnny so accommodating and helpful. i was traveling alone for family reunion in montiscagliosa. he took me to town and when possible met me in town and i followed him back. i felt safe even though facility was far away from town central. the remoteness of the farm was so charming. but if i didnt have escort not ideal for solo senior traveler. the streets close for the festival of st rocco and i had difficulty returning to hotel during some nights there. pool fantastic in 96 degree temperature.so close to Matera and when festival was over much easier to travel to town central and find parking . You need a car. they even had gluten free bread for me for breakfast and delicious coffee.
