Glampings en Drake

This was the best stay in our 1 month Costa Rica vacation. The Lodge is in a very special place where you can spot lots of Aras, Toucanes, and even see the dolphins jumping out of the water. The rooms are very clean, there are some bigs but this is totally normal when you stay in the middle of the jungle. The staff is totally awesome. The food from zhe cool Eduardo was the best food we had in our whole trip. But what made our trip to this hotel the best was Daniel, who managed everything in this hotel. He is very ambitious, caring, so kind and supports the guests in every situation. Every problem gets quickly solved by him! We saw that the other guests really enjoyed his hospitality and it seems to us that his presence even highers the value of the hotel!! Thanks to Daniel for everything, you made our trip to Drake unforgetable. Would recommend it 110% to everyone going to Drake. Thank you guys!

El alojamiento es una auténtica maravilla. Rodeado de naturaleza y con acceso a dos piscinas naturales en el río que forma parte de la finca, es un verdadero sueño para disfrutar de Drake. Las tiendas están perfectamente adecuadas y cuentan con todas las comodidades (la cama es especialmente cómoda). Leticia y Olman se encargaron de que no nos faltase de nada, pudiendo pedir desayuno al gusto y a la hora que pidamos cada día. 100% recomendable, al poder también evitar los lugares más turísticos y masificados de Drake.

We loved staying here! Elmer is extremely nice and helpful. He is a kitchen chef and his food is great and you can see how he loves cooking. Living in the middle of the jungle you can see animals and untouched nature where you would otherwise pay much for a guided tour to Corcovado. The River right in front is great to fresh up. You can go hiking to waterfalls, through his huge property of 120h and he rents boots and tubes for the river. Would come back anytime and recommend to any friend dearly!

Un lugar muy hermoso, casi mágico. Personal muy agradable y servicial. En el sitio se pueden comprar grandes tours y aventuras en hermosos lugares de la zona. La zona es bastante salvaje, para los amantes de la naturaleza.

Nos sentimos muy a gusto en nuestros días por allí, el lugar fué aún más acogedor de lo que esperábamos. La limpieza siempre estaba perfecta, la cocina es un espacio hermoso para estar y sentirse a gusto cocinando. A su vez Elena es maravillosa, siempre nos recibió con amabilidad y una sonrisa. Nos ayudaron desde el hostel para reservar el bote de entrada y de salida.

I absolutely enjoyed my time at the hostel because it is in the beach it self, you can literally hear the waves day and night from your bedroom. Mari and José were very kind and i felt like at home and like family. Thank you !

The whole experience was amazing. It is a serious adventure, involving a place ride, taxi ride that literally went over rivers and a 30 minute hike- with gear. I am not sure I would have done it (with partner who has bad knees and 9 yo) if I had known how hard it was to get to- but it was so worth it. Ricardo was so full of life and generosity. John always had plenty of time to help us. In addition to keeping the space spotless, Mar even came up with a birthday cake when we needed one! To be clear- you are staying in tents in the jungle. There are insects. The food is expensive. Your clothes never dry. But you are also on the beach in a glorious, amazing place.
