Very nice park, beds extremely comfy. Haven't slept this well in ages. Family members also thought the beds were amazing. I even asked for information on the mattresses. Staff are super friendly and acomodation very clean.

Rooms are 24 square metres. Hébergement de la Montagne St-Roch is situated in Saint Roch de Mekinac, near the river and 32 km from Shawinigan. Free private parking is available on site. This place is the best you can choose if you're travelling around Quebec and want to live the real authentic experience in contact with nature. We slept 2 nights in the Tipi which is 5 min walking up the hill. Michel was great, he gave us tips on what to do and accompanied us up the hill to our private tipi every evening with the Quad. There's a lot you can do around, from hiking to kayaking - Michel has some kayaks you can use for free, and he also gives suggestions on the tours to do and how to get back to the base using the currents of the river :D. If you stay 2 days or more, a boat tour to see the beavers is included! And most of all, if you're lucky enough you won't see only beavers - we saw our first moose in one week of travelling around, right here! The place is very clean, and you have everything you need around the campsite - cooking on the fire was one of our favourite moments in the evening.

Went to Orford for the eclipse. The Pods were terrific, living up to the ratings by previous visitors. The proprietor was friendly and helped us with any requests we had. There's a nice trail to a Sugaring Shack (about a mile) that we walked; a bit muddy with snow this time of year, but worth going. All in all we had a great time!

The completely ecclectic and colourful decor is visual eye candy (totally IG worthy)! The bathroom was modern, stunning and sparkling clean. The pillows, duvet and sheets were plush and soft. Lea was amazing! She answered all of our questions. She also gave helpful suggestions for breakfast and dinner alternatives when the restaurant was closed. Not only would I recommend this motel but I would also go back to stay in the different rooms and trailer :)

Set in Notre-Dame-du-Laus, 47 km from Mont Ste Marie, Yourtes Glamping du Poisson Blanc offers accommodation with water sports facilities, free private parking and a garden. The yurt was beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and stocked with everything you could need. The staff and owners are very friendly and hospitable. The lake is pristine and quiet. We felt very much at home and relaxed. We are sure to return for another week next year.
