Food and snacks were very good *Located 10min on the beach to Costeño Beach Hostel where I hang out a lot to play beach volleyball and eat lunch/dinner *Very private and relaxing experience *Fully sustainable *Amazing white sandy beaches 🏝️ *Nice conversations with staff 🙏🙏🙏 *completely save to walk on the beach at night *SUP and surfing possible at nearby hostels

With garden views, Serrano Glamping is situated in El Zaino and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden and terrace. The tented camp features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Amazing stay here. It’s a beautiful paradise and has absolutely lovely people working there. Highly, highly recommended. Thanks for everything!

The location is up the hills in Minca and is a bumpy ride to get there, but that is to be expected since you are in nature. Our room was big and spacious and we had an amazing view that was a combo of nature and the city of Santa Marta. They had amazing juices and the food was really up to standards. The tours/cleansing ceremonies that we booked through them were really nice and worth it for the money. We did the fire ceremony, ancestral healing massage and cocao tour with waterfall (lot of walking but worth it!). The staff was very friendly and the property was amazing to unwind and relax. Take note that to get to your room you do have to climb some stairs that are made of rocks but it's totally doable, just not your typical hotel, but again you are in nature and its to be expected.

The location although it requires a little extra money to reach (30.000 Cop per person by motorbike in Feb2023) is fabulous - you are at the top of the mountain surrounded by forest and looking out onto the sea where you can see Santa Marta etc. it’s a big change compared to gringoland downtown Minca and well worth the investment. nice and cold natural pool which allowed us to enjoy some sunbathing and cooling down at times. exceptional staff practical info: one nice walk to a waterfall from the hotel, we also did another walk of about 15km all the way down to the Marinka waterfall and to Minca which was nice. finca Victoria is also reachable by foot if you want to do a coffee tour. the restaurant was very nice and tasty - breakfast is around 20-23.000, lunch around 25-35.000 and dinner (main) around 35-40.000 if I remember well. prices were ok compared to quality.

In the middle of the jungle, very private. The family that runs the camp is very very nice and helpful.

This tent has a private bathroom, parquet floors and sea views. The unit has 1 bed. Ecolodge Playa Brava Teyumakke offers accommodation in Santa Marta. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Absolutely loved the experience of staying at Playa Brava - well worth the effort of the hike in! We did the walk from El Zaino to Playa Brava (took 5.5 hours incl time to swim at Cabo San Juan on the way) and then exited via Calabazo the next day - certainly recommend doing it in this direction. Both ways it is quite a steep hike but well worth it! We found that AllTrails was a really good app to see the trail map/elevation etc. which you can download and follow with GPS. Pack lightly and take plenty of water - food and drinks available at Playa Brava but at an expectedly high cost. Much more tranquil than the masses of people at San Juan. Recommend the bungalows if you can afford it - huge room with view of the beach, private hammocks underneath your bungalow and deck chairs to take to the beach, whereas the hammocks are all in one hut together. You also get access to your own private bathroom (short walk from bungalow) whereas the hammocks share 3 bathrooms between 20-30 people.

This cabana in Taganga is really amazing. We had 6 nights here and enjoyed all of them. Taganga itself can be a bit hectic, therefore staying at Bareke Azul on the hillside was just wonderful - only 5 min from centre of Taganga but far enough to get some peace, quiet and wonderful views. Also, one of the owners Ramon is just a really great and friendly host. All in all, we had an amazing stay at Bareke Azul. It’s not a luxury hotel, but considering the price, it’s perfect.

Beautiful views, the bathroom has the most amazing view from the shower, the bed is super comfy and the animals are so sweet. A good walk from the center which is perfect, the breakfasts are delicious - you can choose from 3 (arepas, pancakes or smoothie bowls) all so tasty. The best coffee and cake, pizza and limonades as well :) We were meant to stay 2 nights and it will be closer to two weeks!
