Amazing atmosphere with a huge private area right in front of the beach. Staff are very polite and greeting. We weren’t charged extra fees for leaving our baggage while doing a night in Tayrona Park.

Absolutely loved the experience of staying at Playa Brava - well worth the effort of the hike in! We did the walk from El Zaino to Playa Brava (took 5.5 hours incl time to swim at Cabo San Juan on the way) and then exited via Calabazo the next day - certainly recommend doing it in this direction. Both ways it is quite a steep hike but well worth it! We found that AllTrails was a really good app to see the trail map/elevation etc. which you can download and follow with GPS. Pack lightly and take plenty of water - food and drinks available at Playa Brava but at an expectedly high cost. Much more tranquil than the masses of people at San Juan. Recommend the bungalows if you can afford it - huge room with view of the beach, private hammocks underneath your bungalow and deck chairs to take to the beach, whereas the hammocks are all in one hut together. You also get access to your own private bathroom (short walk from bungalow) whereas the hammocks share 3 bathrooms between 20-30 people.

This tent features a balcony with views of the sea, a private bathroom, a fan a mosquito net and a private bathroom with a shower. Free toiletries are included. Beautiful clean huts right on the beach. Superb views and right next door to Los Hermanos hostel which serves food/drinks all day and has a pool and loads of activities. Nice and quiet, you can hear the music from next door but the room fan drowns it out to still sleep well etc :)

The tent's kitchen, which features kitchenware, is available for cooking and storing food. Beautiful little eco hotel. They have beautiful gardens filled with flowers and fruit trees. The hostel has a well equipped kitchen and a cool outdoor bar/hangout area with a billiards table. The hostel is steps away from a gorgeous and super warm river to swim in to cool off. Only a 5 minute walk to the entrance of Tayrona. Everything was kept very clean

2.3 km from Guachaca Beach, Zakua Glamping is a recently renovated property situated in Guachaca and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Really quiet property, and the best approach is the facility for river, really it was a good place for my family. Last thing was the funny with slingshot really is a new thing on Tayrona Park. All my family participate

Providing mountain views, Wachakyta Ecolodge in Calabazo provides accommodation, a garden, a terrace, a restaurant, a bar and a private beach area. Free WiFi is provided. This place is magic. It is completely cut off from any kind of road or path network which means that you have to get there by boat and, thus, the only people you encounter are other guests and staff. The accomodation is comfortable and has a huge bed with a moskito net. Everything was clean and worked as intended. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The place itself is spectacular with a private beach with beds and cushions to sit or lie down on, a small reef where you can snorkel, and a path into the woods where you can observe birds and, if you are lucky, monkeys. The kitchen team also knows what they are doing as all the meals we had were really good.
