The stay in here exceeded my expectations in many ways. I love the designs in the whole place, from the common area, the garden to the tent and its interior. It is a project designed by the owner and his daughter, who are both architects. The hotel is small and quiet, with less than 10 rooms, but has all the facilities - a gym, a yoga place, swimming pool, breakfast, hot tub and access to a small river.

The tent's kitchen, which features a refrigerator and kitchenware, is available for cooking and storing food. This tent has a desk, a patio, garden views and a private bathroom. The unit has 1 bed. It was very cosy and a nice retreat. You wake up in a park with hummingbirds in front of your door and a great view of the volcano. Then you can hike the Park trails (ca.3h) and experience a hidden jungle, waterfall with a lot of fauna. Also there is a cool viewpoint where you can get a photo of the volcano and the jungle.

The kitchenette is fitted with a refrigerator, kitchenware and a tea and coffee maker. Beautiful property with an amazing view of Arenal Volcano. The hosts, Wendy and Roger, were so kind and accommodating. There are nearby restaurants and a small markets as well as activities. The Glamping yurts had a bed, futon couch, sink, fridge, coffee and tea, a/c, electrical and a shower. It was nicer than several hotels I’ve stayed in! And waking up to the volcano view every morning was breathtaking.

The service was excellent! every single staff catered to all our needs....the food was good, the the facilities were excellent....wifi was good as well. the location is absolutely breathtaking. only thing is, its far from everything. it took almost four hours to get there from San Jose...but once we were there...it was an excellent experience. We took a few Spa treatments...and it was awesome!...the private pools had water from the hot springs, so the water was nice and warm all night to dip in...

Amazing stuff, they helped us a lot planning our trips. There are many activities which is nice, and a great restaurant.

Rooms are 5 square metres. Essence Arenal is an ecological hotel surrounded by Tropical Forest that offers a wellness center to tourists, it is surrounded by gardens and beautiful views of Lake... The location is absolutely stunning. I liked my tent and I loved breakfast. Everybody is very friendly and helpful. A walk around the permaculture holds better views than many national parks I visited. Will definitely return.
