Es war ein einzigartiges Erlebnis! Abends konnten wir noch die Würstchen am Feuer grillen, die wir im kleinen Supermarkt auf dem Gelände gekauft haben. Eine besondere Übernachtung, wofür sich das Geld lohnt. Das Team ist sehr nett uns hilfsbereit. Auch das Frühstück war lecker und ausreichend ☺️

The excitement of being towed out by snowmobile onto the frozen lake in the cabin, view of the open skies from the bed, tasty breakfasts, good facilities, fantastic little sauna and great dinner of reindeer sausage in The Grill Hut. Took up the ice fishing activity which was brilliant. Exceptional hospitality from Atte and Alexa. Loved every minute, thank you very much

Ein einmaliges Erlebnis inmitten der arktischen Natur, viel Schnee und Abgeschiedenheit. Sehr schönes Zelt mit einem gutem Ofen, der für wohlige Wärme sorgt; hierbei kann man die einmalige Winterlandschaft genießen. Die Sauna auch ein tolles Erlebnis mit anschließendem Schneebaden. Hervorzuheben die Gastgeberin; Saija ist sehr um Ihre Gäste bekümmert und hat uns zur Sicherheit auch einen Internet Anschluss ins Zelt gebracht. Mit den gratis zur Verfügung vor's Zelt gestellten Schneeschuhe konnten wir zu jeder zeit wandern gehen. Die Pferdeschlittenfahrt war auch sehr schön.

The location of this hotel is very good. Although it takes ten minutes to drive to Santa Claus Village, the environment is quiet and there are super beautiful scenery. My daughter really likes this wooden house and wants to stay here forever. Every afternoon from 4 to 6 o'clock, she can also enjoy a free Finnish sauna. The service is also very friendly, and the breakfast is also very delicious. Our family will stay here again next time we come

Featuring 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, this mobile home offers a living room and terrace where you can relax. Es handelt sich halt um einen Campingplatz mit Hütten ohne Wasseranschluss. Wenn man damit klar kommt, ist es wunderbar. Die Hütten sind gemütlich, es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht (Töpfe findet man am Servicehaus). Toiletten und Dusche sehr wohnlich gemacht und sauber. Die Hütten sind direkt am Fluss gelegen. Der Herr der beim Einchecken war, war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auf jeden Fall eine klare Weiterempfehlung! 👍

We absolutely loved our stay at Tankavaara Gold Village. We booked a small cottage/cabin and we liked it very much. It looked very comfy and cute and is surrounded by nature. Beds were not our favourites, quite hard mattresses, but maybe that's part of the experience. We liked creating our own fire in the fireplace. The sanitary building was not even a minute walk from our cabin and was always clean. Also the kitchen was clean. Had dinner two times in the restaurant and it was actually the best food we ate during our holiday, definitely reccommend to have dinner while staying there. Also had a good experience with the reception, they were very helpfull and friendly. We had a problem with our booked snowmobile tour which got cancelled and they helped us out with booking a new one. The environment is very pretty and quite. There are 3 hikes to enjoy (1,3,6 km) We did all of them and we liked the 6km hike the most. It brings you up to a hill with a magnificent view, there is also a special viewing point. We were wondering if we could see the Northern Lights over there, because of all the trees...but there are enough open spaces to catch them. We saw them for two nights and it was an amazing experience. Definitely recommend this place and we hope that we will be able to come back some day :)

The cabin is located on a small hill with a nice view over the fells. Even the cabin is small, you find everything there you need! Kitchen well equipped, modern bathroom, comfortable beds! Even I arrived before check-in time, they made sure I could already pick up the cabin key.
