We stayed in a normal room as all the snow domes were booked out. Super friendly and helpful staff, who even went out of their way to taxi is around for a dinner reservation in town. We went specially for the Ice Village at Hoshino Resort and the host picked us up at the train station. The room was extra cozy and comfy. The beds were INCREDIBLY comfortable and the food was AMAZINNNNNNG! It was in our fridge ready for us so we could eat whenever we wanted which was nice.

The unit offers 4 beds. TOTONOU Place is a recently renovated guest house in Asahikawa, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. Uniquely local. We got to stay in a local, Hokkaido Japanese house. Very clean. Full kitchen. We picked up some breakfast items from a convenience.store nearby and cooked in the kitchen. We had a big triple room. We also had a long chat with the host. The house is very nicely, artistically decorated, Hokkaido style, reminding me of the frontier spirit back in wild Wyoming/Montana. The Budget rental car is just across the street, very convenient for us to pick up the rental car in the morning. Thank you, Chi, for taking care of us.
