Beautiful comfortable spacious safari tents in huge grounds … you feel the safety of the lodge and still have the openness and solitude of the African savannah right in front of your veranda. And the best was the wonderful staff which truly went beyond with their friendliness and helpfulness. We loved all of them and were sad to leave. And they have many animals on their grounds (none of them harmful) and a sweet baby giraffe which came to greet our children… we truly loved our 2 night stay in this little heaven .

Severin Safari Camp is located is 58 km from Mtito Andei Railway Station. The camp is really immersed in nature and incredibly calm and peaceful. Tents are tastefully simple yet very comfortable and give views out onto the wildlife outside (you can hear them moving around you at night!). We also spent one night in the cottages, which are comfortable and also close to watering holes, but a 500m drive from the rest of the camp. Staff are amazing - really sweet, friendly and helpful and the service is excellent <3. Restaurant is very good and pool is tastefully done (I.e not too big)

The Kilima camp is very close to the main entrance of Amboseli, and is inside a compound that also features a small conference center. The dining hall is large and rather beautiful, with a comfortable bar located on the opposite site. There is a tower inside the dining area which, via several intermediate floors, leads up to a roof deck which offers a spectacular view over Amboseli and surrounding landscape. We really liked our spacious, almost luxurious tent, which featured a wooden sliding door and a large ensuite bathroom. In fact, it felt more like a house than a tent. The food was excellent throughout.

The location is serene and beautiful. Got to walk among giraffes and to learn a lot about tracks, plants and the Maasai culture.
