In the end we only used the paddles, but there would also have been kayaks, e-bikes and fishing equipment. Communication was good, but no personal contact. There are 2 cafés in the area - both very nice, but not always open. Be sure to buy groceries beforehand - there is nothing in the area...

They were the owners and obviously took great pride in their lodging . We stayed in their "studio", which was very roomy and comfortable, with every convenience available. Large, modern bathroom, cooking facilities, a barbeque and picnic table right outside our door, and a hot tub available to us. Our favorite place we stayed in our 3-week New Zealand trip!
