Staff was super friendly and welcoming! I thank them for their warm hospitality! Location is very convinient, right on the beach. Sea is not great for swimming but there are many diving shops and restaurants in very close vicinity!

Foodwise if you dont like to mix in the more busy town you dont have to even leave the resort because the breakfast and lunch/diner menu is awesome, so good.

A great alternative to traditional camping, Glamorous Camping (Glamping) offers pre-pitched tents under the stars, equipped with electricity. Food and service was excellent. The island is beautiful. There's enough to do on the island for many days. We really enjoyed everything about the resort.

When we arrived, the room smelled like the rooms in some expensive resorts here in the Philippines. The lady in the reception, Jona, was so kind to help us with our inquiries with the tours. She even helped us book for the whaleshark activity the next day and the tuktuk that took us there. The tuktuk driver, Kuya Pael, guided us on the whaleshark registration process. He also guided us to the boat going to Sumilon island sandbar. The island was great. The sand was sugary white and the corals and fishes were just fantastic! They have a restaurant inside Oslob New Village and the food was like the best! I've been to some restaurants while in Manila but this one, it's to die for! And their prices are reasonably perfect! One thing that I also liked about this place was the staff. They really get out of their way to help you in every way possible. The place is so relaxing and quiet, I would love to stay longer like for a month. Too bad I had to fly back home. Well, at least next time, I already know where to stay when I'm in Cebu. Oslob New Village it is!!!
