On Christmas Day we went to the local village to give them presents provided by the isla which was so sweet and such an eye opener. Was a great experience thank you!

There was also no shortage of hammocks to lay around in 😃

I came to Bucana beach because I wanted some quiet, solitude and simplicity after being in El Nido for a while where it's a lot busier. Life there is simple and the accommodation modest - just what I wanted. If you go to Bucana I really recommend staying with the beautiful family at 8 star paradise. They are incredibly sweet and welcoming! I loved the breakfast that was served every morning 😄 Thank you so much for having me, it was an amazing experience!

Situated in El Nido in the Luzon region, Domes and Dreams Lio Glamping features a patio. This luxury tent features air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. The luxury tent has family rooms. So glad we got the chance to stay here shortly after their opening. Really exceeded our expectations. There is a lot of attention to detail here. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The tent is huge, with really comfortable beds and air conditioning. We loved the outdoor private bathroom and the sound box in our tent. They thought about the little details - like free yoga mats (the space around the tents is gorgeous so you can stretch/workout outside), high quality robes and LED bathroom mirror. The breakfast is also sooo good, the chef makes the best omelette and smoothies we’ve ever had. They also organised all our transport and tours at a good price. We hope to return to El Nido soon and will definitely stay here again. It’s located in Lio and very accessible by scooter or tricycle - you also get free scooters.

Lovely decoration with so much details. The bed is so comfy. It’s really a “room” to feel good and come down. Moreover at the moment it’s just one tent. So you have all private for you, which was a unique experience. They have Kanus for free so it’s possible to snorkel and swim, when you take the Kanu and paddle a little bit. Water is beautiful and with the “transparent” Kanus it’s a nice experience. Breakfast is delicious too and the shower is very special with lovely decoration.

Take the tour they offer and you'll taste some of the best food in the world on a deserted beach and experience incredible places far from the tourist area! One of the most amazing places I’ve stayed in over 3 years of travelling. Couldn’t ask for a better first day in Philippines. Super close to the airport, and the place was full of kittens and puppies 😍 they even gave us coconuts and there was live music on Friday. Amazing value for the price. Beautiful & unique experience to sleep on the water. Surprisingly there were no mosquitoes.
