Calheta Glamping Pods - Nature Retreat ligt op 27 km van Cabo Girão en biedt een buitenzwembad en een tuin. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een patio en gratis WiFi. Fantastisch uitzicht, een heerlijk zwembad, alles was brandschoon en de service was echt perfect. Ik zou hier kunnen wonen.

Everything was really clean and we had everything we needed. A very beautiful place to stay. We would highly recommend it.

The well-fitted kitchenette features a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and a microwave. We loved our Eco Shelter stay! It felt like a real escape. Lovely location, beautiful park and surroundings. The hut was perfect. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. We received a lovely welcome from Dioclecio, who was really friendly and great at communicating. If we visit Madeira again, we will definitely stay here :) Highly recommend. Thank you!

The fully equipped kitchen has a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and a microwave. Lovely cabin surrounded by mountain views, we saw so many stars at night. There's a great place to eat and drink (O Barracão), just 10 mins walk from the cabin, and it's only 20 minutes drive from Funchal (we had a rental car, but I believe there's a bus stop nearby too). It felt like a little home away from home, bed was very comfortable, shower was excellent and the little kitchenette had a stove top, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Our host was wonderful, very welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!

Location amongst the trees, great hikes nearby (including the famous Pico to Pico, which starts a short drive away) and a sunset hike on the doorstep, peaceful, friendly meet & greet from host and quick responses to messages, but not hassled. Bedding, towels and shower etc of good quality. Comfortable bed. Heater warmed the cabin up nicely when required.
