We stayed at Mambo Arusha hostel for two nights before starting our Mount Kilimanjaro trek. The hostel had everything we could need! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast both mornings and loved the dinner that was made fresh for us as well. Our host helped us organize a taxi to Arusha and answered all our questions with ease. The yard and terrace were very pleasant to hangout in and were put to good use when we were laying out our gear the day before the climb.

A brook is running near, down below in the gorge. Its soft rushing sound soothes the soul and assures a restful sleep. No need to stay awake past 9:30, and while birds might try to awaken you at the crack of dawn, the comfort of your bed will lull you back to sleep. We stayed for 5 nights, there are only three tents, and they are spaced wide apart, so plenty privacy!

This little garden is located at the heart of Arusha city with very good atmosphere and at one point we saw velvet monkeys at the garden! Our stay was very comfy and staff are very welcome. Their chef also provide us with yummy food. Clean secure and friendly is what we like most. We will come again
