We were very impressed with our stay and found the staff & facilities met our expectations, to include top marks for the monetary value of our stay. We will certainly stay again at this hotel when we next venture into Dorset. We loved learning about the history of the area and the reason why the hotel is called The Rivers Arms. Very comfortable and spacious room in this stunning old coaching inn. The staff were lovely, the breakfasts immense and the dinner incredible! Just outside Dorchester in a small and quiet village the location is still central and easy to reach. This is a very popular spot and easy to see why!

We were staying there because my parents were on holiday in Weymouth, my father was taken to hospital in Dorchester so we needed local accommodation. Mark was lovely and bent over backward to accommodate us and help us out especially with my elderly mom.

Luxurious room with deep bath and sofa. Extra heater to keep it cosy and everything spotless. Very warm welcome and excellent choices at breakfast. Would definitely love to visit again. Perfect! Excellent value.
