Beautiful,old inn a short walk to Lancaster Castle and in the heart of town. very comfortable rooms, nicely decorated. Very good food and lovely service in the pub too.

Really great property, ideal for a few nights in the city, only stayed one night but was perfect for what I needed (ie a bed a shower and value for money). Will definitely book again there.

The hosts were excellent and the breakfast which they offered was extensive with a lot of options, and well prepared. My room was very comfortable with a lovely view over the garden and the fields beyond. Getting there was a doddle being less than 5 minutes from junction 33, with plenty of parking available when I got there.
