The host was very welcome, the room was clean and modern, its locates in the center of the old town, very quiet and peaceful. They also provided us with an iron as we requested for it.

The room is inside a medieval village wonderfully kept in mint conditions by its residents. Time flows different here, it’s so peaceful and in harmony with nature. Everyone in Virgoletta is kind and friendly, they help travellers in every way they can. The host tipped us about places and events happening in Lunigiana during our stay, also helped us to find the facilities we needed. Everything was perfectly cleaned and comfortable. ps. plenty of chances to pet the numerous cats that live inside the village.

The location and apartments itself are amazing. Clean, the host provided a little breakfast that was handy to arrange for the kids in the morning. Heating was +++ in early April (it was +8 at night). There are some table games, toys for kids and a lovely garden to chill out. We loved the views of the mountains on one side, and the medieval castle on the other (check visit dates, you can drop in to see the castle only 3-4 times per month). The restaurant Venelia specializes in meat. Bisteka a la Fiorentina (steak) in many ways is 100 out of 100 :) it is 2 min far from apartment. Reservation is recommended.

It was our first visit of Toscany and Monti Guesthouse was the perfect choice. Two ladies who decided to renovate old house from 17th century. They are very nice and friendly, ready advise and share their tips what to see around. The house is full of history with amazing atmosphere. We really loved that place and we wish to come back one day. Please visit restaurant Da Beatrice which is located approximately 3 minutes by walk. The best Italian restaurant we have ever been. Another reason to stay in Monti Guesthouse

Simple, clean, quiet, located in a peaceful small village, comfortably sized room, breakfast included to be taken downstairs in an adjacent bar. Owners are very friendly and helpful.

The host & hostess were fabulous! They hepled with ironing and phone calls we needed. We did not need a/c in September as we were very high in the mountains and very comfortable. The breakfast was nice and dinners were exceptional! My husband enjoyed the spa and we walked the road some. We, now, have new friends and hated to leave. We will definitely return!
