The best stay I had in Japan. All the facilities are clean and comfortable. The owners are super friendly, full of useful tips and offer valuable advice and just general insight about Japan and Kyoto. Every morning they prepare traditional Japanese breakfast for free. I hope I get to come back at some point.

This is a best place to stay in Kyoto! Owners are extremely nice, polite and their homemade cooking and baking is heavenly! Do yourself a favor and book breakfast with them. We spent 4 night at this place and I couldn’t be happier. Room are cozy and spacious for Japanese standards, position of the place is nearby subway station and near 7-eleven. Mattress of the bed was nice and firm, wifi, hot water reliable, and the whole place for spotless clean. I wish the owners only the best customers!

The house is a contemporary renovated town house, it is actually more spacious than the pictures shown and the lighter is much softer and warmth, there is a small backyard with a tiny pond in the middle, the 2nd floor have some interested hollow floor design with a foot bridge connecting the bedroom so you can see the first floor from the 2nd floor, the art collection such as some wall painting and slide door as well as the teapot collection is quite classy as well
