I will stay here every time I visit Santo Antao for sure!

A minimarket is available at the guest house. We had a marvelous 14 day stay at Luz d'Sol. João and his family are such lovely and generous hosts, João and his eldest son are also good cooks. Comfortable room with terrace, excellent bedding, splendid and plentiful breakfast which varies from day to day. Cidade das Pombas is the best part of the island to discover the island anyway, and João knows everything you might need to know.Totally recommended!

The nearest airport is Cesària Evora Airport, 66 km from the guest house. Amazing staff. The girls were so kind and helpful and David speaks English super well and was very prompt to answer any questions I had about the local area and b&b. Absolutely recommend staying here if you’re in ponta do sol. WiFi is also decently fast for Cape Verde standards. Super clean rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast was also delicious every morning.

Excellent location, in the middle of a beautiful valley, with views of the sea on one side and the mountains on the other. The dinner is really excellent, really no reason to go elsewhere. Beautiful stone cottages scattered around the property, with plenty of space to relax as well, in a very green corner of Santo Antao.

Offering garden views, Residencial Lela d'Fermina in Pombas offers accommodation, an indoor pool, a garden, a bar and a shared lounge. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Guests can make use of the picnic area or the terrace, or enjoy views of the mountain and pool. I spent 4 days here with a friend and we had such a lovely time staying at Antonio’s hotel. The hotel is tucked away in Eito (around 20mins walk to Pombas) and surrounded by lush vegetation.. a real disconnection from real life :) That being said the wifi works really well if needs be. Antonio was a great help suggesting hikes and restaurants in the area as well as being super friendly. The added bonuses were the breakfast to get ready for the long walks and the pool afterwards! Thanks to Antonio and your team for making the stay super memorable.

Pedra de Rala is located on the beachfront in Porto Novo. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the guest house free of charge. Christina and her staff took such good care of us! She provided delicious meals, helped with transportation, and provided hike recommendations.

The guest house offers mountain views, a sun terrace and a 24-hour front desk. The location is just perfect. Excellent value for this price with very nice people running this place.
