Il Gabellota Resort offers you the opportunity to enjoy the Puglia countryside while staying in a Trullo or a stone room. These ancient stone buildings, part of UNESCO World Heritage, are typical of Alberobello. Our stay was excellent and we regret that we did not stay in Alberobello for longer. We booked last minute and still managed to reserve a one night stay in a traditional trulli for a reasonable price. Although the breakfast was not included in the price, the breakfast only cost an extra €5 per person which was a buffet and very good quality (also they make a fantastic capuccino 👌). The facilities were excellent and the staff very friendly and accomodating (as opposed to all the other places we visited in Italy). The only, very slightly negative point is that it is about a 15 minute walk to the centre of Alberobello which was beautiful and full of culture. This small village and accommodation are highly recommended 👏👏👏

We arrived earlier than the check-in time and the host kept our bags, so we can walk around until the room is ready. He was very helpful. There was also water, coffee and jams for free use.
