Guesthouse SHIGI is located in Nakatsugawa, 46 km from Gero Station, 24 km from Ōi, as well as 24 km from Enakyo Wonderland. I loved staying at this guesthouse. The house is gorgeous, has rooms with tatami floors, and the beds are very comfortable. It has a very beautiful view of the mountains from the backyard, and it is conveniently located with restaurants around. The host is very kind and responsive. I definitely recommend staying here. It is also close to the train station.

Featuring mountain views, Guest House Hinode offers accommodation with free bikes, a garden and a shared lounge, around 2.6 km from Takayama Station. First time in years that I have slept without earplugs. Good to know: you can not bathe at the guesthouse. I was a bit scared of using the Onsen at first, but ended up loving it. Attractively set in the centre of Takayama, ROMANSTAY offers a balcony, air conditioning, free WiFi and flat-screen TV. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We stayed for one night during the Takayama festival as a couple but it can accommodate more guests. The open-air bath was fun and easy to use with privacy.

Set in Nakatsugawa, 21 km from Ōi and 21 km from Enakyo Wonderland, GUESTHOUSE YANAGIYA offers air conditioning. this is the perfect stay in mag stay in magma. our host was incredibly friendly and made our stay very comfortable, giving us recommendations on where to eat and what to do during our stay. he also booked us a dinner spot at a local Michelin recommended restaurant we would have never found without him. the dinner was a chef private course and is highly recommended. the room was huge and felt very cozy. the shower and washing machine were a great delight to use. very clean and comfy. the location could have not been more perfect. right in the center of old-town magome. being able to walk alone on the streets in the morning before the first bus arrives is a truly priceless experience we had thanks to our stay here. would stay again!
