Mr. Kim and Aya are wonderful hosts. The property is located on an uphill route, and we would not have been able to walk there from the station. They arranged to pick us up and send us off upon our arrival and departure. Mr. Kim extended us a bonus service when he drove us out for dinner as well. The resturant he had recommended was a real treat! They really made us feel at home and comfortable. The in-house onsen was clean and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Our room was on the 3rd floor and it was peaceful despite that many students were being hosted at the same time. The kitchenette had both cold and hot beverages for guests. The breakfast was simple but filled us with warmth. I highly recommend this place!

Amazingly friendly hosts, beautiful location, yoga mats, a hammock, a bicycle to use, clean rooms, and all round wonderful experience. Oceanside views The hosts took me to a wonderful dinner (probably the best one I've had so far in Japan) and taught me how to write haikus. They explained lots of nuisances and generally gave off the best vibes a traveller could ask for. I'm very grateful for their hospitality and kindness, if I ever return to Japan I will 100% be staying here again.

Hostel Knot 位於伊豆的 Shuzenji Onsen，客房附空調並提供電視。這間 2 星級家庭旅館的每個房型都享有市景。住客可以使用共用休息室和露台。住宿提供 WiFi（免費），可以安排額外付費的私人停車位。 Hostel Knot 的所有客房均備有電熱水壺。這間住宿的每間客房都有寢具和毛巾。 Hostel Knot 的住客可以使用溫泉浴池。 Hostel Knot 距離修禪寺 400... 📍位置很棒，在温泉街主路的尾端，离修善寺步行5分钟，离景点都不远。放下行李，就被隔壁床的中国小妹妹拉去泡免费的足汤啦。 🏠青旅不大，女生房6人、混合房8人，双人间2人。最多也就住16个人，很安静。后来在河津公交车上碰到一个中国女生，也是选择住的他们家。 📝旅馆自制了修善寺附近景点、饭店、温泉（超便宜，人民币15随便泡）纸质和电子版地图，进门就给一份修善寺手绘地图，不需要自己再做细致攻略。 💁‍♀️前台的Jamie是洛杉矶人，英文交流就不成问题，超级棒，陪我查订票信息查了一个多小时。住这么多青旅以来，第一次工作人员主动帮我28寸箱子，拎到房间里！！！走之前还留了小卡片[大笑R]，不愧是booking评分9.1！ 📒大厅有很多附近游玩的推荐，最爱的是很贴心的剪贴簿，超贴心，写了周边的餐厅和cafe，完全不需要自己一家家搜。👘大厅还有日式外套，可以穿出旅馆拍照哒 🍜去了剪贴簿里的居酒屋很不错，有很新鲜的食材和当地人的热闹环境。 🍽️本身有厨房，冰箱，微波炉，如果想自己做饭也没有问题。 🔐还有一个小房间，专门给退房后寄存行李的，给每个行李配了单独的链条锁。 🛁洗澡间只有一楼的一间，配了暖风机，还是有点冷。不过大多数人都会去泡温泉，所以也没有碰到抢洗澡的情况。 🚌青旅推荐7点之前入住，七点半是最后一班从火车站出发的公交车，最好是在这之前坐上。不过火车站出来，有看到出租车在等人，从火车站到青旅大概3km，谷歌地图显示大概是60人民币，真的没赶上车，也是有办法到的。

Location is prime. Such a close walk to the beach and other coves for snorkeling. Outdoor shower to wash off the sand. Food at the cafe was so convenient and delicious after spending the day at the beach. Private bathroom in the room.

Apart from 1)the glorious ocean view(the host upgraded our room into one with ocean view) 2)free pick up from nearby places, which many comments have already mentioned, what I really appreciated is that the host was really trying to make our stay more pleasant. There was no toothbrush cup when we first got there, and my friend left her toothbrush on the table when we went out. When we went back she found her toothbrush put in a lovely small toothbrush cup. That was so sweet! The place itself was very nice as well, the weather was pretty good during our stay and we saw many stars at night, perfect place for getting away from the cities and enjoying nature.

The owner showed us through every room and gave us tips for the local area when we checked in. His tips saved us about 6,000 yen in parking and transportation fees. He had about every amenity I could think of and even personally put our dirty laundry (we had been on the road for days) in the laundry machine for us. It was a user-friendly experience. I live in Japan and travel a lot domestically. This is probably the best value you will get out of a stay in a city or the countryside in Japan.
