The owner is lovely and very helpful. The guest house has been beautifully renovated and the rooms are really lovely and cozy with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. It is only a short drive away from Ainokura village( a UNESCO World Heritage site), Washi no Sato - a renowned rice-paper making facility and workshop and Yuraku Onsen - a hot spring for day visitors in the most incredible of locations….beautiful views anytime of the year. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

But this time, I decided to stay in this Guesthouse Iwase to rest after my hike to Mt. Tsuguri-dake. I'm very pleased that I stayed in this wonderful place. The guesthouse owner is very friendly and caring. Right from the beginning, he showed and told me everything. The guesthouse has a very comfortable living room, a very clean shower, and a quiet shared room with 4 beds. The air conditioning prevents me from experiencing the heat outside. Due to the rain, the guesthouse owner offered to store my bicycle at the entrance, for which I am very grateful. I was able to ride the bicycle available for rent. The bicycle very comfortable and good. I rode to the center of Toyama to see the local park and sat at Starbucks. In the evening, in the living room, we sat down with the guesthouse owner and other guests, sharing our impressions of the day spent. I highly recommend this guesthouse. P.s. I also liked the house. It's in a Japanese style with european elements (the room for four people).

Located in the historical world heritage site of Ainokura village, Minshuku Yomoshirou offers Japanese-style accommodations in a traditional Gassho-style house with thatched roofs. Free WiFi internet is available property-wide. The minshuku is a 10-minute drive from Taira Ski Resort. Hosts were so accommodating, kind and gracious. They have snow boots and sleds you can borrow if you go in the winter. The space was warm and comfortable and the meals were incredibly delicious and thoughtful. We had a lovely one night stay in the adorable town of Ainokura.
