Ananda Guest house is located on the slopes of the Maderas Volcano on Ometepe Island, 19 mi from the port of Moyogalpa. The 5-acre organically managed property runs on a hybrid energy system including solar and grid energy. we absolutely loved our time at Ananda guesthouse. Our room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The shower was divine. The shared kitchen facilities were great and the views from the lawn area are wonderful. Would definitely recommend staying here if you stay on Balgue.

Guest House Nena is a recently renovated guest house in Moyogalpa, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation offers a patio. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. I left two pouches with my passport, money, and everything important I was traveling with at the Guest House Nena when I departed to take a ferry back to San Jorge. I had no idea I had left them! They were under a sheet on the bed that I had inadvertently covered them with. After the people at the Guesthouse found my pouches and their valuable contents, they looked around for me, and the young lady from the Nena eventually ended up boarding ferry before we left and asked for me. Fortunately, she found me. I thanked her profusely and gave her a hug. I was extremely happy and grateful to have my stuff and to have adverted a semi-disaster. I owe that girl and the Guest House Nena in Moyogalpa….
