The room gives you the feeling of staying in a little palace with it's very ornated furniture and spacious character. Jill was lovely in welcoming us and providing us with lots of tips what to do in the area that payed off. Feeling very welcome and would love to return.

Altamont Lodge Wanaka is 5 minutes’ drive from Wanaka Golf Course, and 7 minutes’ drive from Puzzling World. The Cardrona ski fields are a 20-minute drive, and Queenstown Airport is a 50-minute drive away. Shared kitchen was spacious & well equipped with cooking utensils and cooking oils as well as Asian spices. The owner really cares for each detail in the kitchen and we are really surprised by his complete tidiness and cleanliness of the kitchen areas. The best shared kitchen in New Zealand I have used during our trip! Share bathroom also clean and tidy. The living room with wooden construction is quite really nice. The lodge is located in a peaceful and quite street filled with autumn vibes, really beautiful lodge in Wanaka. It is very close to the downtown and easy to walk. Highly recommended! We wish we could stay here much longer! Next time, I would definitely stay here when having a chance to come back to Wanaka. Thank you so much!
