Our hosts Mehmet and Narla were beautiful, friendly and hospitable people. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The apartment gave us a wonderful taste of traditional Gjirokaster living. Comfy beds, plenty of space and clean facilities. Breakfasts were sensational, made by Narla from fresh local produce.

Marbi Guest House is conveniently located just below the square where the old bazaar begins. It is a large stone house with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen and dining area, a small patio attached to the master bedroom and a large rooftop terrace. It is spacious, clean and an amazing value for the price. It has a fully equipped kitchen. Marjola and her husband were so kind and gracious. They met us at the square, handled our luggage,drove my husband who has mobility issues to the house, and checked in frequently to see how we were doing. We loved the city of Girokaster and the ease of exploring it from Marbi Guest house. I highly recommend this property.

Fantastic location with a nice view of the mountains, especially from outside. Very friendly hosts who brought us homemade local food without us asking and even spoke some english. Apartment was clean and roomy (at least for 2 people) with a relatively well equipped kitchen.

Near supermarket and old town. Free parking outside house and Prime Video provided. The host is super friendly and allow us to use mixed currency for payment. My only wish is there were more hot water in the main bathroom to run a bath.

This is the most cozy apartment we have ever stayed in. It’s like staying with family. Especially as the lady of the house came to bring us delicious food several times. She brought us rice pourage which brought me back to my youth 🤗 The bed is super comfortable, the shower and WiFi are great. The apartment has everything and more than you can wish for as its awfully furnished house. The location was perfect for us. We enjoyed the road up to the center and it was easy to park the car infront of the apartment. As every location up till now has been challenging to find in Albania. For us we followed google maps and then drove up the hill until we saw a bruncht blue house on the left hand side.

George and Georgina were really flexible to wait for us as we ended up on a really bad road and so were very late to check in. We were pleasantly surprised that they were so understanding and waited up later than we expected given our circumstances! We were provided with an EXCELLENT breakast which included the most delicious crepes! All in all amazing value for money and a brilliantly spacious, relaxing apartment with no noise at all.
