Jambiani Villas, holiday home in Jambiani

Jambiani Villas is located in Jambiani on three properties 400 m away from each other: Kaskazi, Katikati and Kusini. All properties are situated right on the beach and offer outdoor pools and free WiFi.

I have been looking forward to write this review, because this place is the best place we have ever been!!! And we have traveled a lot..From we booked to we left yesterday, we have felt so welcome and been taken so good care of! Excellence is the best word, and in every way! Hospitality, staff, food, the bungalows, housekeeping and the setting is spectacular, on one of the most beautiful beaches on Zanzibar. It’s easy to go to every parts of the island, because they have the best drivers on the planet. So calm, safe cars, on time, waiting for you while you do your plan for that day. They organize massage for you outside your bungalow, private barbecue, and set up trips to different activities on the island that you want to see. And the prices are good. What is good to know is that Jambiani Villas have three properties on the beach. The one in the middle has the restaurant for breakfast and other meals. We stayed on the property 350 meters north, but loved that breakfast walk every morning on the beach! The bungalow had the most amazing sea view, and every morning we sat on the balcony taking it all in, before we jumped into the turquoise water and walked for breakfast. They also offer room service for free, if you want your breakfast in your house, but I recommend the 5 min walk! It is also good to know that this is Africa! One row behind, you meet the locals and you see the poverty and the big differences. But you also see how important tourism are for the locals. We buy their beautiful handmade things, they got work on different properties and they are extremely friendly. We were totally safe even after sunsets, walking to a restaurant along the beach.

Fantastic property! Huge villa with private pool, volleball court and beach hut (with bedroom). Excellent service and communication with manager Callister. Houskeeping cleaning the villa perfectly every dag, extremely helpful and friendly. Gardener keeping the huge property beautiful. And a small group of masai keeping the property safe, always kind and attentive. Our group of 8 (two families with teenagers) could not have chosen a better place to stay.

I absolutely love this location, it is perfect, at high tide the stairs, leading to the beach from the property are covered in water, at low tide, you have super soft sand to walk to the sea which is just a few metres away. Great swimming location. And everything that you need is in the apartment including an ice cold fridge. If you don’t feel like cooking , there is a restaurant next door with good value food and drinks. There are many other restaurants further on the beach if you feel like walking 15 minutes on the beach, including a very nice pizza place. All in all, I would highly recommend staying here and would stay here for the whole Zanzibar time and make this my base in the future. If it’s still available, just book it

everything !!! Callister The manager it was unbelievable! And the Maasai security guard was awesome .. we spent so much time with him and enjoyed every minute. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this property was. It was mentioned that the electricity goes out which happened once but it was only for about 10 minutes.. Callister was so responsive and helped us figure out what activities we should do where and when along with taxi drivers. if you are lucky enough to go to Jambiani you should stay here!

    Excellent breakfast with a view. Lovely and helpful staff and owner. The room and the hotel area was very clean. It did not matter that there was no A/C, the fan worked well, even when the humidity was high after raining. The pool was very nice during low tides when the sea literally ”disappered”.

    We had an amazing time at this hotel. The pool area is paradise, breakfast fantastic and the staff of the restaurant and hotel were the BEST, always super friendly and smiling, they made us feel at home and were always happy! Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Special thanks to the F&B manager Ramafhsnii who was always present and there to take care of everything you need. We loved the cats that came around in the garden of the hotel once in a while, they were so loving and made our stay even better.

    The best stay in Zanzibar. Very muslim friendly and also if you are not muslim you can enjoy the private pool for yourself and your family for several hours every day. Also the rooms are very big and with a nice temperature. Very big balcony to chill in without people looking inside because of the curtain you can close if you want. And last but not least, everything is very clean.

    The property has a private pool with beach access, once u arrive at the premises, you do not want to turn back cause the air, the views and the place is super clean. The staff were accommodating, breakfast was always brought on time requested, the pool was clean, the Masai security made sure we were always safe. Very good place for a vacation with friends and family. Very clean too and safety drawers keep your valuable items safe while you away. Spent half the trip in the pool with the ocean view
