We went to the city for food, but when we checked Dianping found there were some very interesting vegetarian restaurants close to the hotel, so would recommend these over traveling to the city. We were very thankful that the staff rushed us a take away breakfast when we had to check out early to catch out train! Very sweet. Also the resident ginger cat was very cute!

The bathrooms were excellent - it was winter and the hotel had installed a hot air blow in the shower cubicle. It was so clean and very nicely arranged. Even the room slippers were of good quality. Towels were thick. The reception staff (Rong Rong and Lulu) were so helpful and kind. They paid attention to our needs and could recommend places to eat and best sites in Hangzhou to visit. My mother in law had a fall and they went with us to the clinic to see that she was attended to well.
