The rooms are beautiful and comfortables, details oriented. Pool just for us anytime we wanted , and the fact that they don’t do the cleaning everyday for the climate impact we found it very ecological and nice, something that we appreciate.

Free private parking is offered on site. We have totally enjoyed our stay in Game Fish Lodge! Everything was perfect, including great breakfast and tuna for a dinnner! Silent place with comfortable rooms and seaview. Will stay here for sure in our next trip to Zanzibar!

What an absolutely delightful place to call home for a few days! We were looking for a restful spot on a quiet beach after our safari and this was it. The building itself is fascinating….lots of history within, unique and quirky and has everything you need and more. Our rooms were comfy and clean and the balcony in each room overlooking the beach was great. Massi and Miria are the perfect host…there when you need them with answers to all your questions. All staff were so kind and friendly…restaurant staff with whom we interacted the most were the best. The daily breakfast had a perfect selection of continental and hot options. And a juice with fruit and avocado that I wish I could have bottled and brought back home. We ate all three dinners there and they were out of this world (I’m running out of superlatives to describe our stay!). With Massi’s obvious influence they were all traditional Italian. Four amazing courses each night and only $20 USD per person. Worth so much more. I wholeheartedly recommend Zanzibar House as a perfect place to stay for a beach break. Suggest taking the taxi service offered on their site as we chose not to and our cab driver had difficulty locating it. With the help of a kind local on a motorbike however, we did. Nashu House Stone Town, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Ngambo, 100 metres from Stone Town Beach, 1.2 km from Peace Memorial Museum, as well as 200 metres from Old Dispensary. Among the facilities at this property are a 24-hour front desk and a shared kitchen, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The guest house has family rooms. The room was lovely and clean. The location was excellent, only a short walk away from everything you could need in stone town. It was even easy to walk a few minutes from the ferry port with our big suitcases. They were so helpful and let us keep our bags after checkout so we could grab lunch before heading off. Thank you so much!
