Opening to a terrace with sea, mountain or lake views, all units are fitted with a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a toaster. A balcony with an outdoor dining area and garden views is offered in every unit. At the homestay, all units have bed linen and towels. This is indeed the No.1 option for me in Port Vila. The lodge owner is a couple of artists. They tidy an old house carefully and upgraded it with a humble & compromised style. There are three rooms with various fashions, a big yard with lawn and a bay view, a big kitchen, and a big hall. Cool temperature & quiet for sleeping. Conveniently transfer to CBD of Vila for 15 walking. The couple can speak English, though not influent, but modest and available. Unfortunately I don’t have time to experience an Éfate island outdoor tour with their pretty green Suzuki Jimny.

Just outside Mele village, Island Magic was a fantastic place to stay! Right near the ocean and coral reef, the place exuded relaxation. Had the loveliest stay with great hosts (thank you Gerry and Yun!).

Lovely hostel by the waterfront with Peter and Helena near Pango village. Pango is one of the most beautiful parts of the island! Walking into town is about 45 minutes, but is easy. Or there's the bus for 150Vatu and around 10 minutes. Great location, great hosts!

Property was fantastic - really secluded in the morning and evening, with day visitors only coming after 10am and generally leaving around 2-3pm. They put on an excellent lunch and dinner for me and my partner and all was very reasonably priced. Kris, mum & staff were great hosts; can’t recommend the place enough!

It was a really cute place to stay. A bit further from the city centre so we got to walk through a main street where the locals lived. It was a really nice way to get a feeling of the local culture and way of life.
