It is a backpacker’s campsite so don’t expect to much luxury. The place looks very nice. Lots of original features and things. Of course it depends on the guests who are there at the moment but we enjoyed the conversation with them. Stay for diner, Rupert and his helpers can prepare a decent dinner for you. Need something to drink, take it yourself and pay at the end. That’s the way it goes here. Swimming pool in progress.

The tour to the nata bird sanctuary and salt pans was organised through the hostel with a decent price. The toilets were clean and tidy. Hot shower available. The common area near the river is excellent. 33pula taxi to the city centre or choppies.

We met very interesting travelers and enjoyed the conversations around the large communal dining table. I enjoyed resting in the hangmat. There was a normal bed as well. The food Rupert and Luvet made was delicious. The shower water was very warm (gas geyser). I will stay there again.ElveraPeople with friends

Very rustic and very friendly. Added to our adventure through Botswana. The owner hosted us at the bar and we met a young family and had a great chat over drinks. I only went as a convenient stop between Maun and Livingston. But wow did this place completely blow my expectations out of the water. The vibe is so welcoming and friendly, easy to meet other travellers. Plus there are free kayaks to explore the beautiful river, bush babies which come out at dusk, a friendly chicken which behaves like a cat, great communal dinners, and other little appreciated bonuses like good wifi throughout and warm showers.DavidSolo traveller

The camp is located along the Nata river, and is a beautiful place to canoe and swim, and close to the Nata bird sanctuary in the Sua Pan, which is a must-see, especially at sunset!
