My friend and I stayed at Snooze Malang for just a night as our base for exploring Mt. Bromo. The hostel was very clean and cute, with a large kitchen and a very cozy lounging area. The staff were incredibly hospitable and accommodating and took time to give us tips on what to see in the city during the day and provided a thorough list of restaurant and cafe recommendations (including a very nice cafe just two doors down!). Don’t miss out on walking around Malang itself - it’s a really fun town. We would absolutely be staying here again when we have the chance to return, and would wholeheartedly recommend it to others.

I stayed at the private room and not dorms (but it looks cool and clean). The hostel it is small but very cozy, share bathroom very clean, rooms confortable and breakfast amazing. On the common area they have small kitchen where you can order different options. Staff was amazing, really helpful and available for any kind of question. Downstairs there is a small travel agency where you can ask everything and book tours if needed. 5 minutes walking from the Train Station and 10 to the main area in Malang. Teri Makasih

Vico and his wife are the best hosts I've had during my 6-month trip! They're great to chat with, always within reach and offering help from bookings to trips even in the next destinations. There's a homey, comfortable social atmosphere, delicious also vegetarian food options (for a good price), and great tour deals. I joined their Mt Batur and waterfall trips, both of which were great. As the place isn't that big, it's also peaceful to sleep.

Beautiful plants. Super lovely staff. Attracted other amazing travellers. Amazinnggg tour, organised super easily through the staff! Kitchen facilities and comfy beds. Very close access to food and city attractions!
