This hostel is a 10-minute drive from Keflavík International Airport. It offers breakfast from 03:30 and free Wi-Fi. Facilities include a shared kitchen, TV lounge and terrace.

Start Hostel’s rooms offer simple, modern décor and blackout blinds. Guests can choose between rooms with a private bathroom or dormitory facilities. A communal laundry room is also available.

The hotel deserves the value and even exceeds the imagination which give me surprise on the clean, quiet and considerate degree.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

We received clear instructions for self check-in and our upfront. If you need to catch a late or early flight this is a great location. The room was spacious but the beds were not that great, they were very bouncy. The duvets and pillow however were very soft. The shared bathroom was clean!

Nice place to rest before leaving Iceland. Great location, friendly staff, breakfast and drop off to the airport. Reasonable prices for Iceland. I would choose it again.

I had a single room, which was very small -- but if you need a place to stay for airport or car/van rental purposes you're not going to get better value than this. It was super-cheap compared to anything apart from hostels. Good (shared) bathroom, a sitting room with free macaroons, and tea/coffe and own fridge space in the communal kitchen. Parking right outside and free shuttle to the airport. I would definitely stay there again.

Great Location. 2 min walk to terminal. It's not the cheapest for what it is, but you pay for convenience. Check-in staff were very helpful and polite.

Very convenient for catching a flight next day (Keflavik is 5 mins) and/or for exploring the Reykjanes peninsula. Facilities are good, rooms are decent size, well equipped pantry and common room. Breakfast served from 3:30 AM (wow!) and also the best / most varied breakfast I have had during my trip. Staff was very helpful, overall strongly recommended, excellent value for money. More of a budget motel than a hostel IMO, bit underrated.

Very close to the airport, however taxi fair was still approx 2500 Isk. However the desk staff will organise it for you and where possible, merge your booking with another to save prices. Probably the best Hostel I stayed in while in Iceland, and was a nice way to finish the holiday.
