Wonderful place! The front desk guy was very nice and did my check-in in early (at 11am!) I really appreciate that! The room was very spacious and had 6 normal beds! Not bunk, but normal beds! I chose a double bed. There was heating in the room, there were table lamps, and in the center of the room there was a sofa for relaxing. The beds were far apart and people did not interfere with each other. The toilet with shower was in the same room. The kitchen was large, there was also a TV room, a games room, a computer room and a relaxation area. Water, hot water, coffee and tea were provided. The hostel had a friendly atmosphere. I was very satisfied! 10 of 10!

Excellent for the price. I had my own private room in a shared apartment. This was basic accommodation, but the the bed was very comfortable and the apartment itself was clean and supplied with toiletries and towels. The apartment was cleaned during my stay and an issue with a blocked toilet was dealt with promptly. Location wise, the Bowery may not be the prettiest place in New York but there are lots of bars and places to eat around and it is very convenient for getting uptown or downtown, or across to Brooklyn. This accommodation exceeded my expectations all round.

perfectly nice little shared bath hotel. it’s fairly clean and well kept up and the staff are friendly. it’s not the four seasons but that’s not a reasonable thing to expect.

This is a very stylish place for a 'student hostel.' To compare with other hostels, 1. it says the bed is 5ft 9, this is true, if you are taller, it will be difficult to sleep comfortably. the room is a 'sleeper' not a hotel room; just a little cube with a door that locks, and a metal frame and a memory foam mattress, all very clean. An all female floor available, shared bathrooms and kitchen facilities. Bathroom - small stuff, they have overhead rain showers, gets your hair wet. No TV anywhere. Lounges as per the pictures are very nice, tables to sit at with your computer, or sofas by th windows to read a book etc. Location is Perfect - a few blocks north of Canal St and East of Soho on Bowery. Subway train to Everywhere, even Brooklyn in 20 mins.
