The location is truly awesome even if it's 15mins bike away from the city. No regrets. We were here 2 weeks and loved every minute of it. Definitely one of the highlights of my entire Sri Lanka trip.

Relaxing outside will be a must! More than in a hostel I felt like I was staying in a 5-star hotel !! 😍 The owner also made us do meditation and for my birthday they also organized a wonderful surprise, I couldn’t ask for anything better, we felt like family, we can’t wait to come back!

Dutch Church Galle is 7.1 km from the hostel, while Galle Fort is 7.3 km away. The nearest airport is Koggala Airport, 20 km from Sanithu Homestay Galle. The hospitality of this family was just incredible. From the first meeting with them, I felt totally welcome and their kind attitude made my stay extremely comfortable. I know what I'm talking about because I had stayed in places where I didn't feel that much welcome but this just simply wasn't the case. Sanithu homestay is pretty close to Galle as well as to Bara beach which is less crowded and really beautiful. The WiFi in the homestay was surprisingly good and I was able to teach some online classes without any trouble. I also liked the mattress and I had a very comfortable sleep. There was a mosquito net that kept me safe from the mosquitos and I don't think I got a single mosquito bite there. The bathroom was also really clean and also liked their garden and their cute rabbit too. One thing I should also mention was the food because Champi cooked delicious, budget-friendly meals which were also really healthy and which I enjoyed a lot so I definitely reccommend eating there.

I forgot to mention before that the host Pinidu is most friendliest and helpful man I ever met as a host I wasn't feeling 100 percent health wise he has organised a home cooked dinner for me prepared by his mother I needed to see a doctor for my health condition Pinidu straight said his brother is a doctor he can go and get him they both came within seconds his doctor brother went through the test reports assured me no major issues and said for your mental peace if you want to see a specialist I will find out who is the best close to where you are going to stay and did he also gave me medication if needed it Thankfully i didn't needed it. This family is amazing Everyone is so nice friendly and helpful Highly recommended
