The lodge includes 5 rooms and 2 studios. The rooms will be prepared and available to guests according to the number of people for whom the reservation has been made: • 10 adults - 5 double rooms; • 11-12 adults - 5 double rooms and one studio; • 13-14 adults - 5 double rooms and 2 studios. Each room has its own bathroom and direct access to the garden, a generous living room, a communal dining place, a fully equipped kitchen including an espresso machine, a reading room with a wonderful collection of design, architecture, philosophy & lifestyle books and magazines. It also has an alpine sauna. The lodge is designed with utmost respect to nature and local crafts, with natural and sustainable materials, catering to the most demanding needs of comfort – sleeping on the natural, locally produced mattresses and bedding, organic toiletry, a working desk in each room. The minimalist design philosophy is reflected in the clean lines, neutral color palette, and uncluttered spaces, allowing you to focus on the natural splendor just beyond your window. High-quality furnishings and well-designed amenities ensure your comfort, while large windows invite an abundance of natural light, immersing you in the serene mountain views. Located in Magura, at the heart of Carpathian Mountains, within the Natural Reserve Piatra Craiului, IKI Retreat is a sustainable, minimalistic design oasis of serenity for those seeking to leave behind the stress of everyday life. Guests can bath in the sun or practice yoga on the deck with stunning views of the Zarnesti valley, surrounded by birch forest. After a day of hiking you can relax in our sauna or gather around a firepit for a drink together, telling stories and watching the sky full of stars. IKI Retreat is a perfect starting point for hikes and trail runs of different levels and lengths, as well as mountain bike tours. Just at the lower end of the property – 15min walk down from the lodge you can start your Zarnesti canyon route. If not into the mountain trails, you can go for a walk and forest bathing or for small runs on forest roads just at the lodge doorsteps. Many Transylvanian attraction are easily accessible from Magura: Bran Castle is 15km away, Rasnov Fortress at 20km, Peles Castle at 57km, Fagaras Fortress at 65km away and Poiana Brasov ski resort at 45 minutes drive. IKI Retreat is situated 38km away from the Brasov International Airport and 144km away from the Sibiu International Airport.
