Breakfast was good value but dinner was really bad. Calamari starter was tiny and looked like all the bits left over at the end of the night, worked at as over £1 for each tiny bit. Fish and chips really looked tired and unappetising, perhaps we were unlucky with meal as served after a wedding do but we felt a diappointed
The hotel was very nice and welcoming. Staff were very friendly. Our room was well presented and clean .Only niggle no mirror to do hair whilst using plug in styling equipment . We had breakfast and dinner included it was basic but edible for the price very reasonable.
Dinner was good at the Marco Pierre White restaurant and the staff were great!
Nice Chicken dinner, although the restaurant was a bit dark and I was trying to read. Good coconut ice cream. Breakfast was busy, good food but I found sausages and bacon not overly tasty, fresh fruit good. Variety of bread was a bit disappointing. Free coffee voucher was a nice touch.
Dinner was excellent
The location is peaceful but with easy access to the motorway. Breakfast was very good and Dinner was very nice. Staff were very attentive and helpful as my husband has allergies
Breakfasts were really delicious, with plenty of choice. The room was large and nice bathroom, perhaps needs a bit of a refresher. Dinners were again delicious and the staff were all without exception helpful, friendly and generally fabulous.
Friendly welcome. Helped us when we missed a dinner reservation. Lovely room, I appreciated the GHD hair dryer and big mirror to get ready for a wedding.
Gorgeous old coaching inn with ancient passages and exposed beams in higgeldy piggeldy charming interior. Twin room was comfortable and clean. Decent shower. Good town centre location. Tasty breakfast.
We arrived after a walk, the room was ready earlier than we were expected, clean and well appointed. We had an amazing lunch, highly recommend the rustic lunch, great value for money, and absolutely delicious. We also had dinner, again, amazing food, and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was friendly and hospitable. We will revisit!
