Located directly at the shore of the lake, Seehotel Grundlsee offers rooms with elegant, wooden furniture and a flat-screen cable TV. Excellent location and excellent facilities. They have a great sauna, but we did not have time to use it.

The Hotel Hechl in the centre of Tauplitz is located amid the scenic Salzkammergut region of Styria and offers you a wellness area with heated outdoor swimming pool, infrared cabin, tropical shower,... Excellent breakfast, with a lot of choices. I tried most of them, and they were all excellent, throughout our 5 day stay. The fact that they have a very good coffee machine, that makes an excellent coffee, is a fantastic bonus for us. Also, there was this square bread (lauf....) that was a first for us coming from Canada, and definitely a delicacy. When we told the owner we love that bread she made sure we have them in the morning at our reserved table. Thank you for that. Very friendly staff, and the food from the local restaurant is very good.

I strongly recommend this lovely hotel for those who love nature and relaxation.

Set in Bad Aussee, 14 km from Loser, Villa Styria offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Good connection to public transport. Great location in between Altausseer see and Grundlsee, while still far enough to be in a quiet. Breakfast and dinner were plentiful, staff was kind and helpful. Extremely good value for the room price. Recommended.

Located in Altaussee, 12 km from Loser, Hotel am See - Seeresidenz provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. Hotel has traditional Austrian ambiance and heritage. It is perfectly located with its own private access to the wonderful, clean lake. The buffet breakfasts offer many choices of fresh, traditional cuisine. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and many have view to the lake or a quiet pretty street. The staff is very profesional and friendly. We will certainly be coming back and highly recommending this hotel.

Hotel Alpen Arnika is situated in Tauplitzalm, 1650 metres above sea level and 10 km from Bad Mitterndorf. Rich breakfast, very tasty dinner, amazing location, "genius loci"place with wonderful views. Very nice and helpful staff.
