Location was amazing. Saw two bald eagles from the terrace. Views were just what we hoped for. Great hiking nearby. Had a suite that we LOVED. I spent two nights in the tub in our bath. Heavenly.

Located 11 km from Sproat Lake Provincial Park, this Port Alberni hotel boasts a café and bar, has a seasonal outdoor pool and offers spacious guest rooms with free Wi-Fi. The staff was wonderful ! So kind and helpful while in a stressful situation due to the wildfire and road closure. They went above and beyond the usual . It was the quietest Best Western ever. It must have thick soundproofing between the rooms.

The ocean is the backyard at this hotel. The view from every room is amazing. The staff was very nice and professional. The breakfast was better than most. Not spectacular but better choices than the average hotel.
